GAIA Conseils Sàrl was founded in 2018 with a clear vision: to create a consulting firm that combines expertise with deeply rooted values.
We guide our clients through the complex economic, environmental, and technological transformations of our time. This innovative approach not only drives technological advancements and IT infrastructure but also sustainably improves the working environment for our employees. Our goal remains unchanged: to actively shape the transformation of our industry with professionalism and environmental responsibility.
After joining the development department at SARP Industries, I quickly assumed responsibility for our customer portfolio in the Auvergne and Burgundy regions.
I find great satisfaction in developing sustainable environmental solutions for my customers and creating synergies between the various SARP Industries locations. Thanks to my dual Master’s degree in Chemistry and Business Administration, I am able to quickly grasp and efficiently resolve the complex challenges faced by customers and plant operators.
I am discovering a new culture, which is giving my work an increasingly international dimension. For the first time, I am responsible for the export of waste to German salt mines and its cross-border recycling within Europe, including close cooperation with the FOEN (Federal Office for the Environment). In this dynamic environment, one challenge in particular drives me: the continuous search for innovative waste management technologies for a sustainable future.
How can a company remain competitive and innovative in an increasingly competitive sector? What support can be offered by integrating a Swiss SME into one of France’s leading waste management companies, and what expertise can be transferred? Given the quantities exported and processed abroad, does the pretreatment and treatment of hazardous waste even have a future in Switzerland? These are some of the central questions for the Sovalos project and the creation of an integrated platform at the Valorec site in Basel. Motivating the teams, listening to them, and guiding them toward new working methods: that’s the daily work of the project.
The resistance in Basel delayed the project, but we know how to present the right arguments to open and commission the facility.
I am convinced that the future of our profession lies in the standardization of processes and methods, as well as the implementation of a genuine safety culture. Therefore, I am embarking on a new career path and specializing in Lean Management.
Two very enriching experiences.
An opportunity to better understand what actually happens during the import and export of waste.
I expanded my range of expertise to include another skill: occupational safety for professionals in the waste management industry.
